Join us for a morning of discussion and networking at our Social Value Roundtable Breakfast. This event is an opportunity to share experiences and exchange ideas on how to ensure social value goes beyond a box-ticking exercise.

One year into launching its first social value strategy, Hippo’s ESG and Social Value Lead, Steve Saunders will talk about the story so far - exploring the initial drivers, the key milestones on our journey, and outlining how we can support our partner’s goals by delivering quantifiable social impact.

We’ll explore and discuss the challenges faced when creating meaningful impact across Hippo's five social value themes, including:

  • environmental responsibility,
  • sustainable procurement,
  • social equity,
  • diversity, inclusion and belonging, and
  • health and wellbeing.

Our Chief Operating Officer, Lara Longhurst will be hosting the roundtable. Here's what she had to say about Hippo's social value strategy:

Joining us be welcoming Steph Taylor, CEO of Leeds Community Foundation to lead discussion on how to reach the organisations responsible for positive change in communities.

This event is a great opportunity to get inspired, participate in discussion and hear from other leaders in the social value sphere.

The roundtable will take place on Thursday 18 April, 8:30am - 10:30am at Hippo's event space in Leeds, with coffee, drinks and breakfast provided. There will also be the chance for networking after the event.

We have a limited number of places available for this event, so please register your interest in attending using the form and we'll be in touch with more details.
